You Know The Most Offensive Part of All This?

December 21, 2009

It’s not the fact that they are going to make me a criminal for not wanting to bet against myself every month with money neither my employer nor myself has. Though that does offend me to the point of requesting additional guns.

It’s not the fact that they are railroading it though based on party lines.

It’s the fact that the vote happened at 1:00 AM Monday. They debated all Sunday long. And, if the radio was right this morning, the final passage vote is scheduled on Christmas Eve. I mean have they not heard of the Decalogue?

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” – Exodus 20: 8-11

The fact that Reid et al decided to debate and force this bill though on the Lord’s Day shows how vile they and this bill are. They rather sacrifice to Ba’al than honor the God of the Universe. They rather heap hubris on top of their piles of cosmic treason they have committed against the Almighty.

Repent of your wicked ways, Senators, before it’s too late. I imagine burning sulfur is unpleasant, to say the least.
