And here is yet another multi-op/ed post.
In the “Dr. Strangelove OR How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love [Health care Rationing]” category, we have this piece by one Mr. Knight. Want to see how the bureaucrats are going to decide to ration your health? Mr. Knight examines just how the DHHS thinks (using a Singer intermediary).
Ahh, the slippery slope of modern medical ethics. Nobody really thought through how the pill tossed the old Hippocratic Oath out the window and replaced it with cost/benefit analyses, huh?
In the Anniversaries of Minority Literature category, we have this piece by one Rep. Fortenberry. If you wanted to know why I typed Sanger before checking the name of the rationing rationizer, I read this first.
I mean, we all knew Margaret Sanger hates black people, right? Even more than Barack Obama does, if you can believe it. We need to add Justice Ginsberg to the list of liberals who overtly hate the minorities:
“Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion.”
Ahh, more sliding down the slippery slope.
At least this post had a theme.
