A White Christmas is Less Romantic Than One Would Think

I got into a hit-’n'-run on Christmas Day. A big SUV merged into my lane going about 5 mph about 10 feet in front of me. Needless to say, I did not have the stopping power to avoid hitting him, the car in the other lane, and the barrier that abuts the icy highway.

I pulled over. He drove off.

So, depending on if my insurance company rules it my fault or not, I might not have the money to fix my car. I’m barely scrapping by without having to shell out thousands of dollars I do not have. Fortunately, it looks like it is just body work damage, so my car is still operational. Unfortunately, more snow is coming.

If I had a tip-jar, I’d be ringing it now.
